This is what the sheep yard has looked like for the past few days.
I was standing where the hay feeders are when I took this pic after lunch today.
On the left, you can see the top of the gate at the end where the drifting isn't so high - this is the gateway leading from the barn to the feed yard. There is a small door in the side of the barn that the sheep come in and out from.
The board fence that you see on the right is a windbreak that is 12' tall. The sheep are in the barn. The wind break is actually L-shaped, but the long part of the L has blown down.
Oh wow! That is lovely! I admit- jealousy talking, we didn´t have even a flake this year here. Everybody is getting snow and have something to complain about, but us. Us and 30km radius, after that it is snow line.
