Koigu P714

This is what I consider to be a classic Koigu colour way. If I was doing a word-response game, this picture would pop into my head if you said 'Koigu'.

This is P714 in KPPPM, 100% merino fingering weight, hand painted.



This pair is Size Large, knit with the 72 needle cylinder and 36 slot ribber dial on the Verdun 47, using my now favourite pattern of reverse e-wrap 1x1 topper on a stockinette leg and foot.

The heel and toe are reinforced with wooly nylon.

 





I love how - knit at this gauge -  the Monet style dots of a vast number of colours play against the secondary effect of subtle stripes.
