Lorna's Laces Jeans

There's a contest going on over at Simply Socks where you name your two favourite Lorna's Laces colours and possibly win some free yarn.

At first blush this seems like an easy contest, but I would agonize for days and days to try and narrow my favs from LL down to two!

New colours are always exciting, but I have quite a few favs that I've had since day one of my sock knitting journey.

One of those is Jeans, and I've happily received a topping up supply along with some new colours I ordered recently.

This, like most of my Lorna's knitting, is Shepherd Sock, 80% Merino 20% Nylon, 430 yards/100g. 

This is a colourway that stands the test of time. As long as folks wear blue jeans this is a sock yarn that will appeal to many.

This is size Medium + (mens 10 shoe) knit with the 72 cylinder and 36 ribber on the Verdun 47. This version has a 1x1 ribbed topper, then 5x1 leg and instep.
