Here's one of the new-to-me colours from my recent Lorna's Laces haul - Black Purl - here in Shepherd Sock (80% Merino 20% Nylon).
As a sock knitter, if I was forced to pick one single colour, and have that colour in every sock yarn, it would have to be purple. Not that I wear it much myself, but its the most frequent request I get at craft sales and shows.
Here's a pair I knit for DS's birthday: in size Medium +, knit with 72 cylinder and 36 ribber on the Verdun 47. Done with a 1 x 1 top and 5x1 leg and instep.

These are a little wilder than what I normally knit for DS, but I've been recently informed that he's not as conservative as what I've thought.

I would like to know could I get a pair of socks from this Black Purl yarn? They would need to be a ladies medium and I would prefer the golf style sock. Could you give me the price also if this request is possible? I have been catching up with your blog since getting a new pc. Love all the photos of the mamas and their lambs.
